I was at the Chanel counter today and asked about Allure and the M&s copy.

Lady said that it was an urban myth, as was that Clarins made the M&S skincare range.

Oh, also meant to add on here that Superdrug have a range called NYC. They have little mineral eyeshadows in tubs and you get a little double ended brush and a tube of watersealer to make it waterproof, and to use as a liner.

The colours are fab and stay on all day and it's only £2.99 - I use the lipgloss from their range too and its fab, and I recently got a nail varnish that has excellent cover. It's on 3 for 2 at the minute in Superdrug too.. xx

Are there any reasonably priced or preferably cheap brands of nail varnish that go on in one coat and LAST with out chipping. Boots17 lasting finish was recommended to me but it needs about 3 coats and then the coverage isn't brilliant

How about coverage, does it end up streaky. How long does it last without chipping

Found some reviews here, inc. the Bourjois one:

I noticed from this that there are two Boots 17 ones- one got a good review and the other one didn't (think it might have been the one you tried?)

Hi all - just wondered if anyone has heard of or used Dr Bronner?
    http://www.epinions.com/reviews/Dr_Bronner_s_Peppermint_Soap_Liquid_32_fl_oz

Seems completely natural, apparently lasts ages and can be used for 18 purposes! Could this be the Stardrops of the cosmetics industry?

It's not too expensive and I have found some in an organic store. As it's so natural, I got the rose scented one out of curiosity, to use as a face wash. Anyone else know of it? It could be that I've just wasted more money on another dash of hope...
