dodgy breadmaker? bread sponge like and sunken

The other thing that may have made the difference is the temperature. Room temperature can affect breadmaking, and I know that summer has finally arrived (don't need to take a woolly jumper to work !!!) so that could make the difference. Experiment with variations in the recipe, as bushie suggested maybe less water?0

Just tried this recipe http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=9914735&postcount=158 the bread is awesome and for once didn't sink on me but it was only a small loaf-is it as simple as adding half the ingredients again to make a larger loaf?0
