Free Text Message Websites

i know there has been postings on this b 4 but i cant find the thread..so if any one can tell me of any free text message websites id be very grateful

yeah ive used that one b 4....but usually comes up with service will be resumed in 7 mins and stuff....dont know if its any better now....but thanks

Soon Skype are integrating afree to use SmS service to send and receive texts through the VOiP software..

until then, cbfsms.com is the only decent free text sender. Others you have to sign up for, and sms.ac sends you premium rate texts as well I do believe!!!!

I know it's no use for heavy senders, but https://www.02.co.uk gives you 30 free texts a month if you register. You can buy further ones for about 5p each. How about other mobile user websites?

crossleydd42.. surely its better to use cbfsms? No registration required and more than 30 allowed in a month!!!!!!! I suppose if you worked it out you could do over 1000 in one month!!!!!

Horses for courses. I send few texts from home and o2 suits me. cbfsms has not been trouble-free when I've used it in the past. I din't decry your suggestion - merely gave another option. Registration on O2 is no problem.

6. SMS messages sent to you by B4U
6.1 You consent to B4U sending to Your mobile telephone premium rate SMS marketing messages (‘the SMS Messages’) that contain information about B4U’s services and various special offers that B4U advertises to its users from time to time.
6.2 You confirm that you have provided B4U with your mobile telephone number and that it may be used for the purpose of sending the SMS Messages to You.
6.3 The SMS Messages will be charged to You through your mobile network operator at the rate of either £1.00 or £1.50 per message.
6.4 The number of messages to be sent to you under this clause is not to exceed four messages in any one calendar month.

I think you'll find it's 10 a month now.

Register with Orange to get 30 month (maybe only Orange customers?)

Boltblue I think is 15 a month.

Freesmsmate was 6 a day, but seems to have gone pop now.

CBFSMS is fine, if a little unreliable occasionally.

VGSMAIL is great for a paid for service - only 4p per text.
