Anyone good at finding good deals?

I've been trying to find a deal for my sister (she's at uni and spending far too much on her PAYG mobile).
So far i've found a virgin sim only deal which is good, but she's not keen (she's fussy).
She's been looking at the Orange Dolphin 15 deal which seems good but its an 18month contract, and i'm just worried that knowing what she's like with money she wont keep track of paying it, and will end up with a bill. She's moving into her first student house next year so will already have things to think about she never has.
I've tried looking but frankly i just cant keep more than 2 deals in my head at any minute so i'm useless.
If anyone knows of any decent deals with either a very high number of texts, or better still unlimited (she's of the generation with nimble thumbs!) then please help!
Think she can afford about £15-20 a month. And preferably on a short, or 'no' contract basis
thanks to anyone who can help!

Really she's needs to know what mix of texts/mins she uses - possibly worth a SIM only deal for a couple of months to figure out she use.
3 - do a £25 a month texter plan - 500 mins and unltd texts - 12 month contract and £62.50 back through Quidco, get a friend to refer you and another £30 off, transfer your number for another tenner off and its cheap.0 -
If you can find out how many phone mins she needs and roughly how many txts she sends it would find a more suiting deal. Some of the payg offers out at the moment are very competitive!
Eg O2 payg for £5 a month you get 1000 credits, which is either 1000 mins or 1000 txts or a mix eg 400mins/600 txts etc... its called "Your O2 Numbers" unfortunately that is only to 10 O2 numbers, but if shes only regularly txting calling a small group then it might be ideal.
The majority of other networks offer similar deals.
Unfortunately there is no such thing as a no contract/short contract anymore. If they were they certainly would not offer unlimited txts etc... If she thinks she might forget to pay bills etc then i would certainly recommend not getting a contract, we wouldn't want her ruining her credit rating. I have friends at university who are on contract and totally on the wrong tariffs, regularly spending £80-£100, and then moaning about not having enough for other things!SLC: £13000+
Quidco: £131.24 (paid) + £0 (validated) = £131.24
Valued Opinions: £75 (paid) + £52.30 (received) + £4.50 (pending) = £131.80
StudentPanel: £250
