Just wanted to know how long it took to switch from AOL to your new ISP and if you were without internet access how long were you without it.
I am preparing for a switch but can't be without internet at the moment due to children's exams coming soon.

If you request a MAC and give this to your new provider, you should be given a changeover day. You should then not be without BB for very long (minutes), although if your AOL is on their LLU equipment, things may well be different. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

I'll be interested to know how you get on with your changeover, I am looking to join either O2 or Be* in june which is when they go live on my local exchange, so please keep us posted.0
