            Do you know your neighbour?
Do you no if he will download dodgy stuff music, movies or worse?
Its in your name remember?0 -
if they do something illegal it will come under your name! and is likely to be against the t&cs in your contractYes Your Dukeiness

Also make sure you have an unlimited download allowance, if not then you will be charged extra for the extra usage.
As the above poster says, you will be responsible for everything they download too !0 -

If you have download limit of 5gb and neighbour downloads 3GB then you have only 2 GB before going over the limit .
Potential for the other connection to download illegal stuff and its all under your name .
Likewise if next door downloads a virus likewise subject to security read you emails read your bank account on line stuff etc .
So let them test for a day or two but to be a part user is probably against the terms and conditions of your ISP but its the potential danger that worries me .

Are they offering to chip in? Is it unlimited? Are they likely to be heavy downloaders? Personally I wouldn't0

            she's probably reading MSE

If you trust her, go for it just tell her web and email only. Under the latest European law, if she does somethign dodgy your ISP is not required to name you to any copyright holder, and besides if it does happen you now have the pefect excuse "it wasn't me". Although they have been mooting 3 strikes and your out type thing.
A funny thing, many people I know in the "IT security" business leave their wireless connections open with no encryption at all. add 2+2
Normally you can give access away free, but if you charge for it then it would break your terms and conditions.
If you are at all worried about it, just give her some heads up on the latest greatest BB deals for her to have her own (you could always say then she couldn't catch a virus from you!).. £7.50 O2 if you have a mobiel contract, £10 with sky, there are many deals out there, there is a guide on here somewhere I'm sure
