Hi Lukese,

regardless of what they say i would get in touch with energywatch, they obviously know something isnt right somewhere and are just trying to get as much cash from you as poss.

from my experience when there has been a discrepency in meter readings (which happens SO often between people moving etc) if it can be proved there may have been discrepancies between readings, ie, with new tenants etc, then they have to look into it further, and poss do a calculation on what the current tenant uses to find a fair deal.
but they wil try beat you down to pay the full lot, so DONT give up!!
(if anything when she put you on hold and then said about the conflict in readings shows that something on there end is not right!!!)
