Hi I am about to move into a new build house - don't worry, I not whinging about the connection charge!!!
It only has 1 phone socket, and i am worried that we have too many devices to plug into it. Will I have to pay another £170 to get it extended?
We have:
Adsl router
burgler alarm
1 phone
sky - I have never had sky before but plan to get multiroom - 2 boxes?
So, is this gonna work? Or do I need to extend? What is the best way of wiring it all up?

Easy enough to wire your own extensions, you can buy kits from most DIY stores.
Since you are going to be using broadband it could be worth getting a filtered faceplate for your master socket, such as this one.

BTW, Every phone has a REN (Ringer equivalent number), your telephone line can support up to a total REN of 4. Most phones have a REN of 1.That gum you like is coming back in style.0
