vendor wants to comlete on friday but move out on saturday!!!

Is this allowed? I personally dont think its fair, we've got vans booked, days off booked etc. The vendor has said they cant get the day off on friday so they want to stay the friday night and move out saturday morning.

We had a similar situation when we bought our current house. Except the property was empty and the vendors were living overseas, they wanted to come back on the Saturday for a last look round, although we completed on the Friday. I just went along to the Estate Agents when the sale had completed picked the keys up and moved in. Should have seen their faces on the Saturday! As above, when the sale has completed on the Friday the property is yours, as is all responsibility therein. I wouldn't go along with this one.
