1899 is still the joint cheapest for weekday 0870 calls (7p/min). Or much cheaper if you can find the geographic equivalent at say no to 0870.

Beware that if you all 0870 off peak, your line provider can be much cheaper than 1899. E.g. NTL is 4.3p/min eves and 2.75p/min at weekends. 1899 is the the 7p/min flat rate.

There is a similar patern with 0845 calls too
18185.co.uk is cheaper - 4p connection and 4p/minute for 0870 during the day during the week.
Their - possessive pronoun (owned by them e.g. "They locked their car").
    They're - colloquial/abbreviated version of 'They are'
There - noun (location other than here e.g. "You can buy groceries there") OR adverb (in or at that place e.g. "They have lived there for years") OR adverb (to or towards that place e.g. "Go there at noon") OR adverb (in that matter e.g. " I agree with you there").

We've been using 18866 full time since May this year. Our total local and long distance bill since then has amounted to about £7. My husband jokes (only partly), that it would be more like £700 with good ol BT.

Good call quality, no problems at all with the billing, a pleasant surprise to find a service provider who actually does what they say, no ifs, ands or buts about it. Highly recommend them!

I think they bar 0871 and 0844 numbers.
