I was surprised to see a first class trip report on here too but thinking about it.......if we all only posted what everyone could afford then it'd be a very small forum here. Some can only afford £1 Ryanair flights, some think £2000 for a family of 4 is a deal, lots of thank you's on Murph's American airlines thread but lots of people couldn't afford America so where does it end ?
Thai IS a bargain compared to BA in terms of money-and certainly wipe the floor with consistent service-BA's cabin service long haul ranges from good to really poor....and let's not even mention the mess which is terminal 5 right now -I'd pay EXTRA to avoid that !!
So thank you to the OP for posting about a different kind of bargain :)

I agree with you - I don't get the irritation that it has caused some people  I've not flown first class, nor am I likely to be doing so in the near future, but I don't have an issue with someone else doing a report about it. It might be useful to me at some point in thefuture, who knows? :p

Yes, it's a money saving site, but many of us are on different incomes and have very different circumstances. One person's bargain can seem expensive to another, or even a pile of cheap rubbish to another. As Martin says on the home page "It's about cutting bills not cutting back", which is what the OP has done by flying Thai rather than eg BA, hasn't he?
