I currently have an ISA that pays a 5.5% and I want to transfer this into a new ISA this year as well as use up my new years allowance of £3600. I am unable to setup the Lloyds TSB ISA as I live in Northern Ireland however I have instead decided to setup an Alliance and Leicester ISA paying 6.25% this account also accepts transfers.
I have two questions, is this choice of ISA a good one considering my situation?
How do I setup my ISA with A&L is there a contact number for new customers?
Thanks.
