Cheapest MMS mobile?

Thomask
Thomask Posts: 557 Forumite
Hi

I'm looking to purchase a cheap MMS mobile - pref a Nokia if possible however more concerned about the price over brand.

I'll be using it with a BLYK sim card so the phone I'm guessing will need to be unlocked? I'd be happier purchasing a phone I could unlock (if neseccary) via codes from the internet (think this is legal?).

Thanks

Nokia 2610 is £19.99 on Orange from Woolworths at the moment.

Doesn't need unlocking, works with Blyk out of the box. (though it IS locked - to Orange)

    BUMP!

Just got a Blyk SIM and need a suitable, and cheap MMS phone? Any recommendations?
  • I bought a Motorola L2 of a site called prepaymania for £14.99 free postage aswell,is locked to orange though, though most orange locked phones will work with a blyk simcard without an unlock due to them using same service. im waiting for it to arrive so i can see if it will work

Looks good, let us know what its like! Pretty much the cheapest I've seen and it has bluetooth too! Samsung C300 looks good, but then I don't seem to get on well with the Samsung controls normally.
  • thought id let peeps Know ive started a paypal dispute a few days ago with prepaymania as they have been ignoring my messages if they dont respond by 5pm today its gonna get escalated to a chargeback as they have deleted all record of my order from there site a few hours after I sent the paypal dispute and they appear to be fraudsters or at very least have exceptionally poor cusomer service.

ive found they often use new members on forums to give them a postive image, they have a ebay account they sell under with same name though from what i can tell it is mainly clean, I did some digging and apparently there the same site as MOBILE PLACE and the company MOBILE PLACE LTD using the same registered office/address as prepaymania had an application for striking off with companies house on 02/01/2008 so they seem rather iffy and I would avoid
  • sent me an automated email saying has been dispatched so hopefully is going to turn up, they never bothered to reply to my tickets/paypal dispute etc though which is poor
