Help. Phone memory card not showing correct capacity

Just got a new 6GB micro SDHC card from mymemory.co.uk who state that this card is compatible with the Samsung G800.

Put the card in the phone and the phone says the format is not recognisable and do you want to format? (Or something along those words). Phone formatted card and card is showing as 1.7GB.

Put card into usb reader on pc and under properties, it is showing as 1.69GB but if I right click and select format....it shows as 5.69GB.

No idea what's going on......how do I get it to show as 5.69GB on the phone? Or even in the properties on the pc come to that.

Can anyone tell me if the G800 will take a HC micro SD card. Have looked everywhere, but no info on such a thing?
Just upgraded from Z400 & hopefully the G 800 does what is says, unlike the Z400.

It's sped'c to take up to a 4GB card. I have one in my G800, works fine. It also works with a 'standard' Micro SD card of 1GB.
