Stuck with Cable?

Options
Ah, I think this is a stupid question probably; I have inherited NTL/now Virgin for telephone, Broadband, and Tv - this is in a block of flats ; I wanted to try to find a better deal but think I might have no other choice due to the cabling?

There should also be a BT line entering your flat somewhere, one would have been installed (or at should have done), you'd be able to choose from many providers for broadband once with a BT line. I wouldn't recommend switching line rental away from BT, as you will be stuck with them for 12 months or 18 months if you take up the low cost install offer, plus other line rental providers can and do block cheap call access, so you'll end up not saving as much as you thought you could and actually end up paying more than you could if you routed calls via low cost carriers.

You'll might not be able to put a dish up on the flat, depends though, when I was in a couple of flats we all had dishes up. Locally all the high-rise flats and some low-rise flats are having larger communal dishes installed.

Worth looking at what you are paying, what Virgin Media now offer for new customers and what Sky would charge, then call up and haggle, if that don't work go through to cancel and tell them you want to cancel as Sky etc are cheaper.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!
