Get an Oyster card, that's really all you need for travel. It has saved me a fortune!"I'm not from around here, I have my own customs"
For confirmation: No, I'm not a 40 year old woman, I'm a 26 year old bloke!0 -
Sssh! Keep this under your hat. The Globe Theatre has free admission this Sunday. It's to celebrate Shakespeare's birthday. It can get a bit crowded (a situation not improved by me telling more people to go), but it's a great fun event and a taster, you'll go back again.Let us be grateful to people who make us happy, they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. - Proust0

https://www.toptable.co.uk usually have some good deals. We enjoyed the 'Jack the Ripper' Tour last year and its only cost of £6 each, you need your walking shoes on though! You end near Brick Lane which of course has the biggest selection on curry houses! and then you can get the tube back into town.

Also as poster said above. Borough Market is excellent. Especially if you like cheese.0 -
Has anyone used this offer yet? I was wondering how it worked, is there anything to print out or do you just whip out your Oyster card when you get there and tell them you want the 2-for-1 deal?
Thanks, Caroline
