Did you get the cheap TalkTalk deal via Uswitch?

Does any1 know about the offer I got pointed towards from this site that offered 2 months free line rental if you switched to talk talk via Uswitch. They have the same new offer on now but the one I used ended at the end of March.
Having had my first bill from TT there is no sign of the offer & having contacted their foreign call centre they informed me they know of no such offer & I would have to contact Uswitch.
I have yet to do that as I wanted to find out if any1 else used the same link/deal as I did through the main site?0 -
Mantrid,
I signed up for the same deal and my first bill has line rental included too. I've emailed TalkTalk so I'll post again when I get a reply.
Let me know if you get any joy.0 -
This thread is regarding the connection fee problem but I've moved your posts in here so the TalkTalk representative can see your complaint.0

Just spotted your message about the talk talk 2 free months - i had forgotten all about it. irushed to sign up after Martin was on the telly about this deal. When I spoke to TT at the time the sales person said they knew nothing about it and it was not on the internet - however I could see it on the computer at the time and defo signed up through u switch . Ive had my second bill and been charged as u have.
I tried to check my account on uswitch and they have nothing registered under my email - i recall pressing the uswitch on the talk talk site and thought i was put through automatically.
I noticed the new deal if for 1/2 price but this is direct through TT - no mention of uswitch now on the site.
Have u tried to log in/access an account with uswitch ?
Wondering if thats the problem and there was no direct link.
The other thing to watch out for is the paperless billing I defo signed up for that and have been charged for that aswell.0 -
Just rang u switch and they referred me back to talk talk as the way the offer was set up u switch was a 3rd partyandwouldnt have known who to refund the money to ( unlike a cash back site were it goes to your account) .
Nice girl at u switch said she had had lots of calls about this and tt told her the refund wouldshow in 1st or 2nd bill - ive received 2 but no refund.
she said ring tt agin and speak to higher management and put through as complaint so they can deal with it.0 -

Hi Browboy,
Is the total £21.00 being refunded or just the one month line rental £10.50? Your email suggests that Kealey is only refunded one months?
