we ordered on 16 Mar is there anything we can do to get the connection fee refunded?
Why is it only between Tues 25 March and Monday 31 March?

Because those were the dates that it was heavily promoted by MSE with no mention of the connection fee, as Martin says Talktalk had told him it no longer applied. Hi. received my talktalk bundle and activated today. everything working well. also i emailed stephen who confirmed receipt of my email and checked out account balance and no connection charge. I wait and see about the uswitch offer of 2 months free. Great job so far. No probs and already faster than my sky broadband i believe. Thanks Martin!!0

I got a reply from 'Stephen Fell' saying they were investigating and they'd contact me about the connection fee by the 16th. I'd heard nothing more so mailed them again late yesterday, and got exactly the same - obviously automated - response!.
On the plus side, we have been activated successfully, though I had to phone them as the disk appeared not to have worked. I advised that a credit would be raised onto your account to clear the connection fee not to wave the fee, this is why it remains on the account. The credit will appear on your next bill

Hi, I also sent an email on the09/04/08, never heard a thing, 13/05/08 sent another email/ reminder, don`t suppose I will get much from this one,I have just sent the email and will post the response.
