Cheapest Handset that will work with virgin SIM
Hi
I lost my lovely Sony Ericsson K800i this week. It was my own phone so no chance of a replacement although Virgin are sending me a new SIM.
I really need a phone urgently so I thought I would pick up a cheap handset this weekend. I guess it would be handy to have a spare for this sort of emergency.
Has anyone seen anything I can pick up on the high street that would serve my purpose? It need only be very basic - just calls/texts - and also needs to take my Virgin SIM or preferably be unlocked.
Thanks
Karen

Don't advise this as the OP wants a phone quickly.
Lots of people have had probs with this deal.I'm still trying to sort mine out and I bought it in February.0 -
I wasn't aware of problems with the CPW PAYG offer... but looks like it's over anyway - it was a J110i for £12.95 if you buy £10 voucher.
Their e2save subsidiary do have a Nokia 2310 for £19.49 all in (less QuidCo) inc. £10 voucher, but allthatmullarky's idea sounds better. The thanks button is here to the right. If you find a post saves you money, gives you useful information, or you agree with it, take a second to thank the poster!

My mum just got a lobster from the virgin (zavvi) store for less than £12 (I think) and just popped her old virgin sim in it. Very simple, it had to be.
