Did you deal with the office manager? If not, get on the phone on Monday & get the situation clarified and get it in writing, and not for our benefit, for yours.

thanks Jorgan, it was the office manager. I know its for my benefit and do appreciate your help. The main upshot is, I think, that once the for sale board is up and the property is marketed by them that then I will be liable for fees as how could I prove it was me who introduced any purchasers and not them?
He did explain that we should pass anyone interested straight onto them as they, as do you, deal with all the financial and vetting side of things, so i would know who was looking round my house and how secure they are in their mortgage arrangements etc. From that, I would presume that I would not have to pay their fee if someone was introduced by myself but that if I pass them on to the Ea then obviously, I would pay their fee as they deal with that side of things.
You aer right though, I should have got it properly clarified then and there instead of just accepting it.
If you don't have something nice to say don't bother saying anything at all.

If you go for an EA in Dudley, take my advice and don't go with D B Roberts.

I signed with them 2 weeks ago and still haven't even received my sale details to check. (They already have my Home Condition Report - so they can't use that as an excuse). So of course there's nothing on Rightmove - nowt.

Every day I phone it's always "in the post - will be with you tomorrow".
