For most people this is a no-brainer. Use a Nationwide Flex Account Debit Card to withdraw cash from ATMs while abroad. When your statement arrives you will find that you have got the cash at the bank's commercial rate, not a tourist rate. And NO charges or commission.
You just have to remember that some ATMs ask you if you want your account debited in pounds or euros. Choose euros or the bank who own the ATM will sting you.0
