Thanks for the advice on the soil pipe. By running through the wall, down the outside of the kitchen, back in the wall and the into the soil pipe should be quicker and easier than channeling in the wall. Have suggested this to builder.
Woody, agree with you on timescales, but if 2 guys (as discussed earlier in thread) then should be a day and a half??

It dont quite work like that, LOL. Just because there is two guys does not mean it's half the time of one bloke. The second guy will often be needed as an additional pair of hands, especially for when fitting worktops. Then there's times when you both want to be in the same place etc etc. I personally think that a second man usually takes about 1/3rd off not half off.
