Dust Under Camera Lens

I've got a T-Mobile Vario III MDA which has a camera on the back of it for taking pictures and video. However over the last few months its become useless as its covered is dust which has somehow found its way under the protective covering. Pictuers now look as though they have been taken on an extrememly foggy day.
I dont want to try and clean it myself as it'd void the warranty, so I was thinking about complaining to T-Mobile as its obviously a design flaw as these things are classed as pocket PC's and should therefore be able to survive the hazzards of someone's pocket.
Does anyone know if its worth doing this or will they just swat me away?
TIA.

SIMPLE SIMON - Met a pie man going to the fair. Said Simple Simon to the pie man, "What have you got there?" Said the pie man unto Simon, "Pies, you simpleton!"
