Afternoon all. I'm supposed to be doing this work but I find it much more interesting to be ripping music to media player, finding music videos in Ilike on facebook that doing this work. I just know I'm going to regret it all tomorrow night when I drastically trying to get it all done.

What's everyone's plans for this afternoon?

Back from my mystery shop. The store is a little one and didn't have most of the counters I had to visit so it was an easy £11 earned (which I spent on the food!)

There's a house on fire on the next road to me. Saw it on my way back, seems it is the front room an also the garden and the hedges are well alight :( Was going to pull over to phone 999 but the Fire Engine was literally behind me. Just heard another one arrive. Not nice. People were standing outside looking calm so hopefully everyone is out.

Afternoon all.... Have been trying to do some housework today, quite cathartic actually as i don't do it too often. We have a good arrangement here housework wise- Big G does a lot of the housework as he's home before me every day. i do most of the cooking and dishes, washing is shared...

Also waiting for the Grand National. I was bummed last night cause i couldn't register my card as it was Electron, but called the customer services number and they looked me up on electoral roll and manually set me up. So £25 of bets placed, with £25 to come back to me soon. And £50 on Quidco, tracking already, so very hoping it doesn't get declined further down the line!

We picked 8 horses, surely one of them will win!!!! Also put a bet on Celtic/Motherwell game! I love free gambling!!!!

I offerred to set big G up on Betfair to get his free bets, but you know what, he said och never mind i can't be arsed! can you believe it!!! what a tube!

(i would've even set him up on Quidco for the now £30 cashback, but maybe not let on about that!!!)
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

I'll have a look as I drive past when I go to get my waggy tailed boy. There were no other sirens so it seems the 2 engines contained it and no ambulances had to go.

I'm knackered now:o . I decided to re-arrange a corner of the kitchen so I could have the bread maker out permanently as it was wedged in a bottom cupboard and hard to drag out. It meant moving the microwave, the icecream maker, the chocolate fountain (never used! ) and a pizza oven:confused: .

I then had to clean out the cupboard and it is an awkward shape, I ended up pulling out carrier bags and loads of container lids (but no containers:confused: ?!) and then cleaned it out. Flour, raisins, bits of cornflake..........whoops.....:o

The pizza oven is now in the cupboard and the breadmaker is now proudly snuggled in on the work top. The chocolate fountain is on top of the fridge. I'm quite pleased with myself for being so motivated!!:T

I know, I know........a pizza oven......it was a pre-LBM drunken Friday night, just got in from the pub purchase from a shopping channel.......I woke up the next day and thought - oh my god, I think I bought a pizza oven last night.....

I think I've used it 3 times.......I rarely buy fresh/frozen pizzas and anyway - but anyway - isn't that what my normal oven is supposed to cook?!:rotfl:

Well since my breadmaker doesn't really get hot, it's behind the door to the dining room and snuggled next to the shredder. And that's where it does it's thang...

Short of benchtop space? Moi?

Afternoon all, just sitting here wondering why it rains/ snows/ sleets/ hails everytime I leave the house today, but as soon as I get inside it's sunny! Oh well, managed to get the rest of my veg planted in the garden, got soaked but now drying off watching a strange kids film on telly and eating a big bowl of rice pudding :D

OH has talked me into ordering a take away tonight due to the free quidco money. We are both trying to loose a bit of weight (him more than me), but we have both done a little bit of exercise already today;) So I say its a choice of Chinese or Indian food mmmm.
