oops my horse came in second and I only bet on it to win - must try a two way bet (or whatever it's called) next year!

    Congratulations to those that won!!

Not being a killjoy, but please don't get hooked - my grandfather put a bet on the horses every day of his life and gambled away nearly every penny he had, leaving just £100 inheritance.

Have now withdrawn my winnings from betfair - just in case I got tempted to have another go!!! got about £40 back so very happy here.
found it all rather confusing last night despite the fact I was only there to lose a tenner so don't think I'll be doing it again in a hurry.

By the way Keren, I have contacted AQA three times in the past fortnight and have had one standard reply saying that I will be sent a questionnaire and application form and received no reply to the others. I was turned down just after the new year but thought I would give it another try.

Is this the usual for them do you know?

Not sure to be honest. I'm a bit of an old timer now with them, I've got almost 2 years under my belt and things seem to work a bit differently now, much bigger operation it seems.

Keep trying until you get the test sent through, they had a huge recruitment drive recently so could still be looking.

I had 3rd in the National but had it each way so :D . 2 fences from the end , I had 1st, 2nd and 3rd, that would have been a party in my account if that had come in!!

Lenny......... well done on the shed, but i'd love to know what you intend to put in a shed so small?

Or is it deceptively large? tardis like?

I'd thought it was rather small too - but perhaps we're just spoiled by unnecessarily large ones.

It's not the size of the shed...it's how you use it!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Hey a shed is a Shed . Takes a lot of preperation and thoughtfull slow progress. Well done Len :T. All you need now is a brown coverall with a row of pens in the top pocket and then you can go and "potter" in your den.

Well done and enjoy. To all those who won on the National today,Congrats :T .

It's not the size of the shed - it's the size of the implement(s)...
