For a while now my daughter has been going on Bebo and MSN. I have not been happy with her talking to all and sundry, and i saved history of what she was saying on MSN to monitor her conversations basically to put my mind at rest and see if anything unappropriate was going on.
Some of the conversation on MSN was not acceptabpe in my opinion and some conversation to lads were sexual to the degree that body parts were being shown, not by my daughter im happy to say.
Anyway, i went balistic with my daughter and have 'banned' her from using these sites until i seem happy that things had got better.
Anyway, i want to block Bebo for a start on my pc, how do i do this so when anyone types the bebo address it tells them that the site is blaocked or that they cannot use that web page.
cheers

I believe Netnanny is good for blocking sites0

You can use http://www.opendns.com. With this you change your internet settings to use OpenDNS addresses lookup servers rather than your own ISP's. It allows blocking of all sorts of sites and is invisible to the user.Steve0

to get the conversation history you need to be online with MSN at the time. so you need to know your childs id and password.
go to tools, then option, then in general you see an option to save history, tick the box and it tells you were you have saved the info, ususally in my documents under MSN you then see every conversation that has took place between you and other persons, times and dated.
i dont usually look at the history as its personal to the person who is online, but as a deterrant or just to put your mind at rest if you feel you need to check the conversations that took place. All the big powers they've silenced me. Your broadband router should have an option to block specific sites (mine is under firewall/url blocking).BLOODBATH IN THE EVENING THEN? OR PERHAPS THE AFTERNOON? OR THE MORNING? OH, FORGET THIS MALARKEY!

I think the parents should be responsible for ensuring their children arent on there, not the site owners. The OP is doing the right move.0
