I assumed your figure of 724 was the number of gas units, and converted them into 22768 KwH. Tell me if I'm way out.
This is what I got from energy helpline.
Here are your gas & electricity results from the www.energyhelpline.com website:

How do you work out the KwH? Maybe im putting in the wrong figures:(

Yes im doing it wrong..... what a fool i am

    is the calculation 724 x 2.83 x 39.1(calorific value) x 1.022640 (volume correction) /3.6 = 22757

Looks like im off to British gas then, saving between £94.90 and £121.42 depending on which comparison site i went onto plus if I go through Quidco, that will be another £60, total saving of between £154.90 and £181.42!

I concluded that 8000 odd Kwh annual gas usage was a tad low so assumed that OP had an imperial meter, 182 units equates to 2021 kWh is actually the metric relationship.
Looking at one of my bills as an example it shows:
    Units (imperial) 14,
Total metric units 40.51 cu mtrs
    Converted to kilowatt hours 440KwH
So maybe she was quoting the metric units and not the meter units?

I'm sorry if I've mislead the OP, but I guess she knows how much her overall bill is, and its easy enough to have a look at the meter and see what units its in.
