How can you find out what tarrif you are on? Ive checked my bills and im on
Package - WWW P PLUS DF with Scottish power.

Charges as from 2nd Feb 2008

Gas kWh@p 2.771
Standing charge 12.040 per day

Economy 7 Electricity kWh@p 4.002
Day Electricity kWh@p 8.942
Standing Charge 17.96 per day

I have contacted Scottish power by email several times and asked them which tarrif I am on and below is their response which still leaves me confused.

"You have a two-rate meter with day and night rates; this is an economy 7 meter therefore you will be on an economy 7 tariff."

" can confirm that the tariff you are on is the Online Premier Plus package it depends on the website you are looking up as to what they will call this package.

If you are on our own website the package is shown as the Online Energy Dual Fuel tariff.

If you are looking for these on comparison websites it may be called the Online Standard tariff."

"When you go into the website https://www.theenergypeople.com, if you click on current supplier, then use the option Scottish Power online and choose the payment method monthly Direct Debit. You will then choose the 15th option, this is the one you want."

Can anyone understand this?

Try going onto energy help line, put your tariff in as on-line for both gas and electric and don't forget to check the economy 7 box, and see how that compares with what your paying.

Something is not right, as there should be no difference between the Scottish Power online and Scottish power online no standing charge tarriffs.
They should also be showing a zero saving as that is the tarriff you are currently on.

OK, what is your annual gas, and electric usage in KwH ?
Alternatively, and this is less accurate, what are you paying monthly or annually for your gas and electric?
I'll stick them into a comparison site, it will be for the East Midlands though.

    Thankyou very much.

    Gas 724 annually
Electric 9128 (20% roughly is Economy 7 usage) annually
