IMO also, money spent on servicing is recouped in later savings. For example, fuel efficiency (is greatly increased with good servicing), wear and tear on other parts, and also prevents you needing to buy another car later when your car ends up knackered after lack of servicing.

There was that programme on ITV tonight about fuel economy and there was a bloke with an Astra who shared Denises stupid attitude. It managed a whopping 22MPG. It got a service and lo and behold, nearly halved the fuel consumption. Oh and the dodgy tyres and brakes got done as well so the rest of us were safer around it.

I just had my MOT test and the tester commented that my car had been well looked after :A

I have a 22 year old Capri that goes straight through MOT's. I doubt that would happen without servicing. Denise would never have a car that lasts that long.

    MOT determines roadworthiness

That is all it does and only on that day it takes no account of reliability, it could become unroadworthy due to lack of service the day after the MOT.

An unserviced car is far more likely to breakdown or cause an accident through poor maintenance, than a car that is serviced regularly.

If you want to put your life at risk then OK, I just feel sorry for anyone that may be injured or have their property damaged just because of your attitude and silly opinion.
