So if you normally withdraw £50,000 a week then that won't be flagged as abnormal?If you never make withdrawals/transfers/deposits of similar amounts then the bank will be alerted to an abnormal transaction.

But even then, probably best not to go into the Abbey branch in Newton Abbot, Devon ...The simple way to avoid any problems is to pre-arrange with a simple phone call and carry a picture ID when going to collect.
