i'm first year social work degree, the bibliography doesn't count in the word limit but the references do depending on the tutor. X

Most UNI's will be able to tell you this via their online pages

But in most cases the references in the text will be counted

Like i said all UNI's will have this information on your blackboard/vle or equivilant
    CC £1700/£1477 HSBC Acc. £-1750/£400
    Barclay Acc. £-2009/£-1280 / A & L Acc. £-908 £0!! / Finance £-1008 £-590 / Loan £8000 £8000

    Hi Gemmzie
Yes its really interesting, covering a wide range of topics and client groups. I'll be honest I find it quite demanding and difficult at times. My first degree (graduated in July 2004) was in Applied Psychology and I just missed a 1st: 69.3%, but I think I'll be thrilled to get a 2: 1!

Where will you be studying? I am at Magee: Univ of Ulster.

Hi Shelley are you enjoying the course?

  • They def count for me as they are within the body of the text, but the bibliography at the end is not counted as it's not in the essay.

We got given all this info. when we started our course. We were allowed to go up to 10% under or over the word count. Have a look at your Uni web pages.

they count if they are in the text but not in the bibliography. like amaseal said, you should be able to go 10% under/over the word limit.

    hi booklover,

i love the course, i'm on a 30 day placement at the moment. My uni is ridiculously disorganised so it keeps us all on our toes! How are you finding the course? x
