I seem to remember reading an article on this site that listed a number of on-line car brokers. Could anyone provide a link as I have used the search engine in vain????

A lot of these brokers used to get good deals on new cars when the price of dealer cars in the uk was the most expensive in europe. But the prices have come down a lot and dealers are more competitive now. Last I heard the uk was the second cheapest place in europe to purchase a new car.

If you still want to go through a broker you could try somewhere like http://www.virgincars.co.uk but consider aftersales service etc before you buy. Also the dealer should honour the manufacturers warranty but in my area I know dealers provide a minimal service to customers who did not purchase the car from them i.e no courtsey car etc.
