I assume you mean https://www.call1899.co.uk, and https://www.call18866.co.uk, the only two I use. It IS right, honest! However, you do have to register online first and you pay with the credit card you register with. With the others, you dial a number etc and pay via your normal phone bill."Some say the cup is half empty, while others say it is half full. However, this is skirting around the issue. The real problem is that the cup is too big."0

I used the call checker to call Australia. I dialled the number for access, a message told me the call would cost 1P per minute, then I dialled in my cousins number.
With the two numbers above, you have to register first and pay the company for the calls. With the number I used, there was no need to register, and I will pay for the call in my normal phone bill. An hour on the phone to Australia cost me 60 pence on my phone bill. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

An hour to Australia costs me 0p.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0 -

Are you wanting to call Spain from a mobile or a landline? Are you using an indirect access no eg 1899 or a dial through 0844 access no.PF.0 -

To call abroad for NO charge I use my o2 free offpeak minutes,(150 per month on the online tarrif if I top up £15), and dial
07744973333 OR
07730666890 OR
07744974749
THEN dial the number I want when the instructions tell me to.
DO NOT press the send button after you have dialed the international number or you will be charged the usual rates.
I CAN'T REMEMBER WHICH COMPANY'S THE ABOVE NUMBERS ARE AS I just PROGRAMMED THEM INTO MY PHONE JUST AS ''INTERNATIONAL''. but I did get them from the internet.
Try putting ''free mobile international calls'' into google.
You get the offpeak minutes and all weekend free and still get the £15 worth of airtime for general use.
Hope that helps.0 -
The 07744 numbers quoted only work using O2 at the moment(all other networks charge for them now).
The 07730 o2 no only works during limited periods.PF.0
