You will find different opinions about this depending on where you look, however it should be noted that ALL cavity wall installations are covered by an independent 25 year guarantee.

I would suggest the benefits therefore outweigh the small chance that it will cause problems, especially when you take the guarantee into consideration. If something does go wrong then it will be rectified, even if the installation company no longer exists.

I got powergen coming out in the next few weeks to do a survey and if all ok then the cavity wall insulation for £75 half price as they where offering a deal.

just hope my house does not fall down then :eek:
