This is the first time I'm using mobileshop for a cashback deal and I'm pleased with what I've experienced so far.
I've worked out that the money you get through any of the cashback sites i.e. Quidco/Rpoints should cover your postage costs.Nearly debt free

I have used chatterbox.com for cash back mobile deals last year and they paid up with days of receiving my claim. I did pay for special delivery - but hey £4 a year for 100xnet & 100 text plus phone is fine
I too went for mobileshop.com Motorolla V220 free for 12 months in May. Referred my OH who went for the Sony E T630 which was also free for 12 months then. However I didn't get my £20 referrers fee from them nor have I had another £20 referrers fee which I am due from a friend. Will have to chase them up on this.
Edited to add that we have now had our £20 referral fees from mobileshop. ~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)

It's a shame I ordered the Motorola V220 last month and when they were doing it with the o2 100 xnet mins and 100 texts.
Don't forget you can get more cashback if you use Quidco, Rpoints, or other cashback sites.
Any ideas how long the quidco cashback takes with mobileshop.com? Because mine hasn't shown up yet even as pending in my account and I ordered it on 22/09/05. However, i received the phone on 27/09/05. So, should I be worried? Thanks0 -
I went through Rpoints when I got the phone it has not shown up on my statement, I have put a claim through for it, it does also say that the last time Mobileshop info got updated was August 18th. I'll just wait and see what happens.Nearly debt free

recorded delivery is useless.
They can just say 'sorry, dont know whos signature that is' 'they no longer work here and nobody can find it' etc, and as it is insured exactly the same as first class post (they will only cover the cost of what was actually posted) you'll be muchos out of pocket.
