Just a thought - what are you doing about drinks?

Could be an idea to get a couple of bottles of wine in, french, the best you can afford...

Depends on the weather at the moment, for Sunday lunch on a yummy hot day go for Pimms. But typical summer weather a la England at the moment I'd opt for Liqueur Coffees!

She loves Rosé wine and when we've been for lunch they've only had Blossom Hill Rosé and she likes that.. so the drink is the easy part.
  • Good luck for Sunday it will all go perfectly, I can feel it!! Lot us know how you get on..

Even if the meal is not perfect - just the fact that you have tried is a big deal!

When I first tried to cook for DH - it was chicken in red wine - because I did not know to "seal" the chicken it ended up bright pink and looking like a flamingo - but it tasted fine!

Whatever happens it is the thought that counts!
