Afraid my tumble dryer goes on. Can't stand looking at clothes draped on the radiators, would have to put heating on to dry the clothes, also don't like the condensation it creates and I haven't room for an airer. My dryer is a condensing one in the kitchen so we get quite a bit of warmth from it.0

I use an aired infont of an open windowLiving the simple life0

On the clothes horse for a day or two then tumbler for about 20 mins to finish off. Depends how cold/warm it is too.0

Heat rises so an airer on the landing seems efficient. I use the landing railings to air things if they are slightly damp, although DH does not like it in case it does something to the paint.
I have heard that a washing line under a carport or in an open garage is also very good. We can't even get into our garage but it would keep the rain off.0 -
Wait till it stops raining.... then hang out.
Only wash clothes when I know I can hang them out.
If push comes to shove, I use the airing cupboard.
I'd avoid using radiators / clothes horses, it's counter productive and you'll end up with a damp cold house. The damp over time will cost you more in internal decorating/repairs.0 -
Clothes horses - bought 2 from Asda last year to replace my old one. Put near window and they dry more quickly. Put near heater in winter.

I use a concertina airer with a dehumidifier. My friend puts hers on a concertina airer in the loft bedroom with the window open.
I can't leave my windows open during the day when I'm out for security reasons, so before the dehumidifier came we had terrible condensation in winter.0 -
I have a retractable washing line in the integral garage, the boiler is in there so it gives out a little heat and things usually dry in 24 hours, I also use the airing cupboard and an airer which sits in the corner of the dining room. It's a hassle at times but my tumble drier died nearly 7 years ago now and I've only once had to resort to taking wet clothes to the laundrette, I love dry clear days when I can get three loads done and dried on my whirly gig....... and I'm really tempted by a rotaire .......0
