    I can't believe what I am seeing here..

The wind has been so strong that the green plastic cover on the folded up windy drier, is actually being split and shredded as I watch.

It has almost fallen all the way off now.:(

It's really windy here too, my son's plastic play tent keeps blowing away so I've had to fill it with rocks and it's still making its way across the garden! Better get my washing in I think...

I've also just realised that my 4 shelved mini plastic greenhouse hasn't been in use since the Spring when I got my seedlings started. If I removed all the shelves and stacked them on top of one another at the bottom, on wet days I I could clip things onto wire hangers and suspend them from the crossbar which supports the top shelf. I guess that one of those mobile mini whirligigs could also be set up in a greenhouse if there was sufficient space.

I was thinking of inventing a rotary washing line with a "canopy" over the top - dragons den anyone? Along with an umbrella that somehow fits onto a pram so Mums don't either have to struggle one handed with umbrella and pram or get soaking wet. I think I missed my vocation...

first day here in ages not had rain. and omg it is blowing a hooliey out there. i've had to re-peg my washing so many time. ( i stupidly bought wooden pegs as they were cheaper this year and not the plastic hurricane pegs i usually buy, ggggrrr). but having said that i've got 5 loads of washing dried today.

i hate drying clothes in doors unless the rads are on , as it takes so long to dry that by time it dry it feels really weird. and i'm trying to not use tumbly so much. so today has been fantastic drying weather. i hear tho the isle of wight is in for lots and lots of rain tomoz tho yet again. ah well good job i do love winter, even if it is in august.

This was mentioned on the Chris Evans Drivetime show quite a while ago - I've had my eye on one since! I'm hoping to get one in a few months at the same time as getting a new rotary dryer. It might be expensive, but should save leccy money by not using the TD :T

    I have one :T

I don't have a tumble dryer - hate them. Don't even need to think about them with this :D
