Isa Top up in new Financial Year

I have an existing Cash ISA I took out last November, I added the maximum £3000 to it and have left it in place. My question is can I add the maximum 2008/9 allowance £3600 to my existing £3000 or if not can I take out an additional cash ISA with the same provider and add the maximum cash allowance to it?

Yes you can if you are happy with the rate on offer.

Wouldn't be much point unless it's a different product - i.e. obe fixed and one not.

You can also start a new ISA with a different provider.
