I would be highly surprised if this is a free text number. These companies don't do owt for nowt.
In any case, the charge is made by O2 and not 118118. Not sure where they give the prices for texting this number or if they do at all.0 -
... but I am nearly 100% sure they were free and I am normally quite astute. the adverts were in the Metro newspaper. I am wondering if only some of the texts were free?
I wish i had old copies of the newspaper as i could check up.
Personally, I wouldn't believe pricing information given by advertisers for any telephone or SMS numbers.0 -

the 85p is the cost before VAT
