Salou & Port Aventura

Ive managed to find some great deals for Salou in a fortnights time, £36.00 all in for 3 of us to fly return (Ryanair with hand baggage only), £80.00 for a studio for 4 nights, and £27.00 to park at the airport. So £163, + taxis for a 4 night break.

But........

i want to save some more money !!

Can anyone point me in the right direction of a 2 for 1 offer for Port Aventura theme park ?? I believe there are some around but i cant find one !

Also any tips on getting cheap taxis from Reus into Salou ? I have been told between E20-25 , is this right ??

we're going next week and have been advised to go mcdonalds to get some bogof vouchers for port ventura, ive also been advised about 35 euro from airport to salou and 25 euro return. will confirm when i get back next week.

yea try macdonalds but they change all the time i got aquapolis chidren free with there happy meal .Take a look at www.365tickets.com we found these to be the best bet for portavenura . have a great time

Thanks for that info, and please do let us know how you get on. We fly on the 19th, and ive been looking at booking transfers, but they seem to be at least 90 euros return ! Id rather just jump in a taxi as its so much cheaper, even if they drop me at the wrong hotel ill walk the rest of the way for that saving !
For anyone thats not been it has a lovely beach, we went in February, but my wife booked everything as a surprise, so this time its a lot cheaper with me at the helm !!

its a brilliant place we tayed in thier hotel so had access to everything all week and the kids had such a good time, the water in the outside pools are freezing though. lol. x

We went a couple of years ago, and there was a bus outside the terminal which serves the resorts, and is designed to meet the flights. We just said where we were going, paid our money and got on. Booked the return journey at the same time. Can't remember the name of the bus or how much it was (not very helpful am I!) but was very reasonable.

We stayed at Cap Salou, and were dropped off on the main road at another hotel, and just had to walk a very short distance to our actual hotel.

There is an "aero-bus" that`s run by the local bus company PLANA,which waits outside Reus airport for every arriving Ryamair flight.
It costs 9-95 euros return and will drop you off outside your hotel and pick you up for your return flight.
