Are you on an online tariff, or a high st tariff. What is the name of the tariff eg Talkalot. If you dont know. what do they charge you to call an 01/02 number is it fixed, or does it reduce after 3 minutes.PF.0

It's just an ordinary 02 PAYG. The charges are 35p per minute during peak hours and 10p per minute after 7:30 pm and all weekend. Charges to other 02 mobiles are charged at 25p peak and 10p off peak and weekends. As far as I know this is correct.0

Consider Switching to Tesco mobile. All calls are 20p per minute. Including all calls to 01/02/077/078 and 079 numbers. Register three of your most used numbers and get 50% off.
If you don't need to use your phone abroad try Tesco's new "Value" tarrif. All calls are 15p per minute.

Or
Call 500 bolt-on...... £23.50 a month PAYG. 500 minutes free calls anytime to any network (mobiles or landline). You won't find it advertised, but they will offer this if you tell them you are thinking of signing a contract with another company. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

You are on an old tariff,i believe cross network mobile calls cost 40p.If you are happy with your tariff you could register with https://www.1899.com By using there 020 access number during evenings/weekends you could reduce your cross network calls to approx 20p a min weekdays ,and 13p weekends.(there is a 3p connection charge for each call.)
Eg. dialling 020 acess no costs 10p +1899 mobile call 10p weekdays =20p As 1899 mobile call is only 3p at weekends it goes down to 13p a min.PF.0 -
Many thanks for all your replies. It's certainly given me a lot of new options. This is a really good Forum :-)0
