Did you actually have this bag scanned? as when i got mine the SEL said £12 reduced to £6, however scanned for £3 :T

Yup, took it to the till and got it scanned. Had a really lovely SA who then handed me a big Ted Baker toiletries bag (it has a mirror and a shower cap inside) from behind the till and said "This one is only £3 something if you're interested"!So I bought it for £3.13. Also got the Botanics green one for £1.50 (didn't have an ACM points voucher for Botanics accessories, unfortunately) and a large Boots Stripey holdall for £2.50. Not sure what I'm going to do with them all - does that mean they weren't actually BARGAINS?!:rotfl:

never mind the carriers... what about all the bloody receipts and till splits... all those treeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees! :rotfl:

I sometimes 'hide' all my boots paper in the free local paper when I put the recycling out! I just dare to think what your recycling says about you! Mine is full of Boots stuff, empty boots related product bottles and flavoured water bottles as I only eat food from scratch etc.

My recycling men must think there are 12 teenage girls living here who just shop for toiletries, get thirsty from all the lugging and then finish up ten products a day.

Mind you...better than my neighbours(not that I have been 'rooting' through his recycling lol) ...he should be dead by now judging by his recycling...each week about 40 packs cigs, case to case and half beer bottles, 7 pizza boxes. Ewwww.

I find it amazing that Boots are doing these bags actually as I have had their SA's tell me for the last say 8 years, that I MUST use one of their bags! If they do insist, I always just empty contents into my own and then hand back lol. Can only use shoulder bags because of RSI in the wrists anyway, but they do not listen grrrr. Same as Marks and Sparks, despite their recent campaign, they still want to put a pack of mints in a carrier for you! Sorry...I am rambling(as usual)!

Pollsdolls, I like that idea

MSE Bootser, maybe we're more easily spotted than we think? Does the following description fit anyone here?

Doesn't need a reason to visit Boots but in an emergency will feign a headache and just "quickly" pop in for paracetamol.

If you get close enough you'll smell pink Soap&Glory or more recently, Smiley perfume.

    First stop, ACM.

    Next stop, clearance stand.

Prowls the store on every floor on the way to the pharmacy, always checks out all the ranges with current vouchers in the hope of spotting a price reduction or glitch.

Sometimes accompanied by a male OH, these are easily spotted as they usually stand several feet away, sighing, tapping their feet and looking at their watches in an impatient manner. Tsk....

Usually on first name terms with some of the SA's, nodding terms with the others and "avoiding eye contact terms" with one or two fiercer ones.

Can often be found crouching at display stands checking out the drawers for elusive items. Alternatively she is giving other customers advice on current vouchers and offers.

She uses terms such as "shelf edge label", "ACM", and "gift with purchase".

If you are still in doubt, check her basket, she will have one even if she's "just popping in for paracetamol". It will usually contain at least one GWP and the associated items, something with a Clearance sticker on, and a H&B mag.

Watch as she approaches the tills, her purse will be bulging with vouchers, her AC will be in her hand and she'll be ripping out the back page of the mag with her teeth; the more well equipped even have scissors.
At the tills she will hand over a quantity of vouchers and watch, eyes gleaming as the till total slowly reduces to a tiny fraction of its original total. She will often look mildly surprised at the final price, saying something innocent like "Gosh, that's a good deal isn't it?".

Finally, she will leave the store looking very pleased with herself with at least one Boots carrier bag.
If you see her again later it will be because she forgot the paracetamol or a H&B magazine...

 OMG you saw me :p;) !!!!!!!!! pmsl.. this is brilliant! :T :rotfl:
