Hello again, ladies. Right, I've caught up now so I thought I'd let you know about my Bootsing (in Gloucester) this afternoon....

Still haven't really managed to get organised with vouchers or a plan of attack/list of what to buy, but I remembered a few things.

I bought the Hackett men's antiperspirant deodorant 3for1 with an ACM voucher I'd printed off last week. Couldn't get another voucher today (even tried 2 different machines, just in case!) - don't know whether I would have been able to last week so I'm now kicking myself - have you other Bootsers managed to get multiple ACM vouchers for this? There wasn't a big choice of Hackett stuff, the shelves were almost bare. One of the smells (do blokes' things have "scents"?!) only had one APD can left and it had a broken lid, so I bought two of one range and one of the other one ( I think there are 3 different ones), hope OH/DSs will like them.

I was going to try the foundation/concealer/P&P 3for1 thingy, even though I don't think any of the foundations would have made me look anything other than tango'd, but I couldn't see the the signs saying you got a free concealer with the foundation, so I decided not to bother - probably a good decision as I've saved some money - but I have a 250 points voucher burning a hole in my purse....

I then decided to do the 17 lip glaze/eye shadow palette thingy (having been very proud of myself for resisting the lip palette last time!) with a chunky metallic eye pencil but they didn't have the colour I wanted and as I was looking for something else I noticed that both lip glazes in the colour I wanted had been opened and spoiled. So that's more money saved!

I remembered to look for reduced hair accessories, but there wasn't anything that took my fancy - and they were still rather expensive at half price, IMO!

They had the new Ted Baker bags - really expensive!! - and no reduced bags left.

Looked at the little photo albums but managed to resist those, too! Aren't I good?!:A

Finally, I did a good trawl of the reduced nail stuff (thanks, OP!) and spent some points on Boots shiny nail kit (x2!), cuticle moisturiser and Nail biting solution, all of which were a quarter of their original price. Resisted some stick on toe nails, but was very tempted - carried them round the shop with me for a while before resisting! Lots of empty hangers where other bargains had been - you Gloucester Bootsers must have had a good raid before I could get there!

So, I think I remembered most things!!

OH has taken my DSs up to his dad's for a few days so I'm home alone with just the PC(& internet shopping!) for company......

May go to Cribbs tomorrow after work - MUST sort out a list first tho......

Claire I did wonder if you'd shop today as Sunday is as you've mentioned before your Bootsing day.
Glos has been pants re reduced stuff. Had I know you wanted TB bags I'd have got you one as I did see them reduced. Chelt had loads last week but all still full price!

Also Chelt have 3 clearance shelves upstairs on baby. Nothing much on them BUT we can live in hope ( these were around after christmas then stocked nappies but red clearance signs up so fingers crossed for goodies )

Nettienoo ~ did you get anything today?

Went in this morning ( had to go to Asda so would have been rude not to pop in!!) Anyway was talking to No7 SA and she could not believe that I got the limited edition eyeshadows for 50p , she said they should never have been reduced that low ! there were loads of others on the shelves at £2.75 also limited edition lip gloss thingies still £7. Got myself a bargain for a change !!

    :A
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

I agree with you about Glos being less than brilliant for reduced goodies - have you seen the Ted Baker £3.75 perfumes sets there at all? I still manage to spend ages in the store - all three floors! - trawling up and down the aisles "just in case..."!! Oh well, think of the money I've saved (through keeping my purse in my handbag)! It'll have to be our turn for goodies soon, surely! Fingers crossed!

That would have been so funny, photographic evidence, i think the sa's should do that off the shop floor, as it doesn't look good and customer now know for sure they r missing out.
