I will have to return it and feel like a muppet.
couldn't really sort it out at the time as was with friend and her son was getting really restless. doh. He is not usually a bootsing child and they had already been to wait for me outside once.
I was sure someone on here said that the more expensive ones were still on offer they were certainly diplayed with the promo items in two stores yesterday.
Apologies for finding that part amusing
I thought it was 2 for £2 too, same as on boots.comand I'd be very tempted to ring CS to ask
Yesterday I think all but one transaction bleeped (and there was about 10
lol) but included confusion over R&M and gwp, SA's scanning the wrong side of the points vouchers, and overcharging in general for clearance stuff and 342's etc.
All it does is make the car parking dearer (and even the car parking machine tried to rob us of a pound yesterday! lol), annoy other customers because they're left waiting, and generally frustrates everyone.Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. ~ Sir Walter Scott0 -
Have some coupons available if anyone wants them:
100 points on tixylix x 2
double points on £15 mini mode spend x 3
double points on boots pain relief 3 months +
100 points on 17 foundation
£3 off 30 7x5 prints
300 points on flight socks
100 points on omega 3 fish oil

It is annoying isn't it?
I'd heard about this happening in a local store, but never seen it actually in practice until yesterday. There were so many SA's crowding around one crate, that it was impossible to really work out what was in it.
Must have been something good though, as they stopped serving the customers!
I used to work in M&S (lingerie dept;)....during christmas period....think: blushing men) and they have clear rules regarding staff conducts/ethics. If an item is reduced, asn you want to buy it, fair enough. You can buy the item during your break, or u can reserve the item during your break.
No such thing as grabbing and putting behind in the store room/the counter to wait until your break. (having said this, there are a few old timers who will do this)
the lesson is that: you cannot use your position to gain an unfair advantage over other customers.0 -

Quite right too
That includes my OH who refuses to stand around changing rooms and lingerie depts lol.
It looks like I'm on a downer against Boots SA's, but I like to see them get a bargain just the same as everyone else, and have even offered to get one for some SA's.
But it did confirm what I'd heard about a few SA's.Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. ~ Sir Walter Scott0 -

:rotfl: Now you come to mention it - that's what it looked like
They're in the fortunate (?) position of working upstairs where they're usually well away from most of the managers, and isn't a usual occurence (as far as I know) but seems a strange thing to do with all the cctv cameras that are on them
It probably only involves one or two SA's btw, but still a sight to behold lol.Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. ~ Sir Walter Scott0 -
