Trouble with landlord

If the OP has never vaccum cleaned then no-wonder the landlord is moaning!Bankruptcy isn't the worst that can happen to you. The worst that can happen is your forced to live the rest of your life in abject poverty trying to repay the debts.0 -
My landlord has always been okay and usually pops round now and then to inspect the place. I don't mind but i have notices that recently hes started moaning about this moaning about that. The latest thing is he says I should clean the blinds but I see them as his responebility like the wallpaer, carpet etc. I have lived here for 2 years in June and want to move out but the places near me are really dear or only flatshares, they want peeps like non smokers or vegetarians or gays - and I'm none of those.
Are the blinds my responebility? They are fitted and venetian so surely that comes under the property fixtures?
