I've noticed with all the property !!!!!! shoved in our faces these days, that many buyers seem to think they're buying "shop quality goods" when they look at a house. They price things on the assumption that everything - from the bricks & mortar through to the light fittings - is "out of the wrapper, perfect".

I'm beginning to think that every property over 12 months old needs to be torn down and replaced with a shiny new build

Even period properties are expected to have laminate flooring :mad: :eek: , wall hung toilets :mad: :eek: and state of the art kitchens :mad: :eek:

Nothing wrong with those features in the right properties ... but I like quirky, wonky and the "lived in" look. Any chance for me? Or shall I become a p i k e y I am part-qualified, anyway

Seems like a huge amount of BTLs are in the auction and no one is buying.
