Broadband, Phone & TV package

I've just moved and need to sort out broadband, TV & phone.
My issue is that there is no BT line installed, though all the cabling has been laid in the house and there are phone boxes in every room. BT has said that they can install a line (for £125) but that would oblige me to sign up for a BT contract for 12 months at £11 a month.
So I'm on the hunt for a cheap bundle deal that will have a fair range of TV channels (I'm not big on sport or movies), decent broadband (2meg at an absolute minimum) and a landline.
Any recommendations?

Your only alternative would be virgin cable since none of the TV, broadband, phone providers except BT will install a "BT" line although they could if they wanted to.
Someone has to install your landline and it costs £88+VAT.

BT or Sky if they could connect it would still have to provide external cabling and connect to the necessary switching equipment in the exchange, even if internal cabling exists already ,so a connection charge would apply either way.

I've just ordered a Virgin package - pretty decent cost and no installation fee which is great.
I did look into Tiscali but unfortunately they couldn't connect the phone line as its in a silverzone or something - I'd have to have got BT to do their thing which would have added £250 (over a year) onto the costs!0
