Help Needed - New Car Damaged by Dealer

why is it when you buy a secondhand car from a dealer, say 2 years old, they never actually service it or clean it out until the day of sale. Dealers should service the car when they receive it, and wash the car inside complete valet, that way they would sell cars better. I hate it when I go looking at a car and they all have dog hairs or bits of paper inside. I bought mine privately to avoid this. Mortgage Free 2016Work Part Time:DHouse Hunting In France 20230 -
Ok I got a letter this morning outlining everything in writing regarding the new car, and also that they will be offering the first years free service for free.
Obvioulsy I want to take up the whole point of the interest on the money they have of mine, as I believe this should not go to them but me. I intend on writing to them asking them for the interest they will receive on my money, especially as the new car is around 8 weeks away.
What I wanted to ask is, if they refuse, would taking it to a small claims court almost guarantee I receive this money back, as it seems pretty much a no brainer to me.
Thanks again0 -
bitgiggy, IMO you already have a good result - I wouldn't want to be pushing it. At least you're not stuck with a repaired damaged car :beer:0
