    Depends how narrow it is, maybe a toothbrush :D don't use your own of course

    Soaking it might work, chemicals/solutions would depend on what it's made of

    You can get some little ball bearings that you are meant to put it in with soapy water and they scour out the grot

    put uncooked rice in it with some warm water and shake gently works every time for me

    Crush a few eggshells, add hot water and swish around, or sand works very well with a little water.
